How to hide - Part 2

Dear Tommy,

Do not be sad that you is a rubbish hider, we all hads to learn. I think if I shows you some of mine mistakes you will learn quicker.

Do not try to fool the hoomins that you are anyfing other than a kitty, dis will not work. Like when I pretended to be a bread roll. I made myself into the right shape and stayed VERY still in the bread basket, but they still knew it woz me.
If the hoomins is having pizza night and you wants to spy on where they hides the leftover foods, you need to keep your head down. Is easy to forgets we have sticky uppy ears...they gives the game away....

If you wants to hide in indoor plants, you MUST pick a planty that is big enuf to cover your  HUGE butt. Also, just becoz you avoid eye contact wiv da hoomin, doesn't mean they cant sees you....

Huge butts also get in the way when trying to climb in rolled up carpets...

Hiding under a rug is not a good idea. You can sees why.

And finally, somestimes, no matter how hard we try, we just can't fit into our chosen hidy spot. Tommy, you needs to learn when to give up and find somewhere else....

Just wait a minute Mr Neighbour...

HEY!!! Why you has the big noisy grass eater out? Can't you SEE I is playing lion safari in the long grasses in your garden...

Yes, that's better. You just go inside and waits for me to finish playing. THEN you can start playing wiv the noisy machine.

Good neighbour.

How to hide...

Dear Tommy,
Dis is how you hides properly. You needs to be IN stuff or BEHINDS it. If you stopped runnings away from me ALL the time I could teaches you fings like dis.

If you does not has the best cover...you MUST roll around in the dirts so you blends in better with your hidey spot. This is also good fun for going back inside later and shakings off all da soil on the carpets, da hoomins LOVE cleanings it up....

And if you is wanting to hides inside...just be carefuls not to falls asleep....dangling tootsies ALWAYS gives the game away....

Supercat...

Where the heck has spring gone? I went out for 3 minutes and had to come back cos my tootsies got soggy. Mummy was showing off that all her cat scratches had healed and didn't her hands look good now. So I gaves her a HUGE scratchy right across the back of her hand. She likes thinking of me when she looks at them...

So todays I mostly slept. And pretended to be superman. I needs a cape.....
And oh....what's that on the counter? Chicken? Chicken that the hoomins have yet to destroy in the hot thing...? Well it'd be rude not to taste it....but I must remember my table manners and only nibbles a little bit.....

Looking for the nom thief...

Today I tried to find the fluffy black cat that is eating my noms and making my castle whiffy.
I didn't find the nom thief.
I found Tommy.
This is Tommy.
Tommy does naughty fings and the neighbours blames me cos they is clearly blind and cant sees we look TOTALLY different!

Tommy doesn't eat my noms, cos when he sees me he runs away.
He is a big scardey cat. I is only trying to play wiv him.
He is a bit stoopid. This is Tommy hiding. He is RUBBISH at hiding.

I spent some time in the garden wiv mummy today and we played wiv my ball for a while, then I got distracted by other smelly fings....

Wednesday whiffs...

Hello. I have had nice times sleeping with mummy & soaking up the sun on my special chair in the porch - I even got to warm my furry tootsies on the bricks!

I have been having such a relax I havent been doing my patrols and now there is an enemy in the camp....my mummy found a strange black cat in the utility room eating my noms! He rand away when he saw her, cos he is obviously a big scaredy cat. He keeps coming back and making smelly sprays. It's icky.

Mummy says when she gets a day off she'll find out where he lives. I don't know what she's going to do when she finds out....maybe she'll spray smellys in his kitchen...? I don't care. If you want me I'll be under the big tree in the garden watching the squirrels run along the fence....

Sunday 9 March 2014

I came in with DIRTY feets!
Mummy says they're like rabbit feet. I've never seen a rabbit but I bet I'd like them.

Last night a woked mummy up at 3am and 6am for noms, I didn't go out until 11am though - we were having cosy snuggle time. It's been sunny this afternoon though, I sat on my plant in the garden soaking up the sunnys, and I chased my ball all around the lawn.

I have a grumpy....I have run out of foods. There is no more tins on the shelf. I am starved. The hoomans can't be cross if I comes back with another mousey tonight, a cat's gotta eat.....

Sorry I've been away for a while Aunty Suzy, mum has been busy (with what I don't know) and the computer keeps breaking so she's spending a lot of time shouting at it....

I think it might be spring time, there are flowers in the garden and it's sunny a lot more....I keep finding lots of sun puddles to have my naps in.
It's still cold at night so I needs my box in front  of the fire when the sun goes away.

I promise I won't leave it so long before writing again xxx xxx xxx
